I run KOI Sourcing, a small private sourcing agent based in Guangzhou. We help people in Europe and beyond buy straight from real Chinese factories.
The name KOI comes from Japan, and it carries two meanings. One is 鯉, the koi carp, a fish that stands for luck and friendship. The other is 恋, which means love and deep care. I like both. I want you to feel lucky you found us. I treat you like a friend. And I care about your order like it is my own.

You always see the real factory price
Here is how a lot of sourcing agents work. They quote you one price, pay the factory a lower one, and keep the gap. You never find out.
I do it the other way. I never mark up your products. You see the true factory price every time. I make money two ways only, a commission and a small consulting fee, and both are written right there on the invoice. Nothing is hidden.
If you want to check my math, you can. I will show you the factory's RMB quote with an English translation, the domestic invoices, and the customs papers. Your PI is broken down line by line. The ex-factory price. The domestic logistics and port charges. My commission. Each one on its own line.
I know the tricks too, because I watched them happen. That is the whole reason I started KOI.

I grew up in China's factory world
I am from Guangzhou. If you buy from China, you already know this city. It is the home of the Canton Fair, the biggest import and export show in the world. Buyers fly in from all over to walk those halls.
Around the city sit the factories. Foshan, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Zhongshan. Thousands of them, making real things every day. Glass, furniture, packaging, machines. You can smell the fresh paint and hear the lines running. This is the world I grew up working in.
I have spent more than 8 years in international trade. Since 2018 I worked as a products and sales manager, inside both factories and trading companies. So I have sat on the factory side of the table. I know how a quote is really built. I know where the costs hide.
At some point the path was clear. Stop working for the factories and the trading firms. Start working for the buyer. That is KOI.
What I'm good at, and who I work with
My home turf is packaging and HVAC. I spent years on perfume packaging design and air-treatment products, so I know these well. My main market is Europe. I have one distributor in France I have worked with for a long time.
The work has grown wider too. Over the last two years I have sourced construction glass, outdoor tents, machinery, prefab houses, furniture, and even yachts. I arranged factory visits across Foshan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Guangzhou, so clients could see the real places with their own eyes.
I am bilingual, so the language gap is not your problem. I read the Chinese quote, the local invoices, and the customs papers, and I tell you in plain English what they actually say.
I am not a big agency. I am one person who knows this place, with a small team I trust beside me. When a job needs real technical hands, I bring in Liam. He is our engineering and industrial sourcing lead. He handles HVAC, AutoCAD drawings, mechanical and electrical sourcing, and custom manufacturing. We stay small on purpose. When you talk to KOI, you talk to a real person who knows your order, not a call center.

We find the true source, then check everything
We find the real factory
A shiny badge on Alibaba does not mean much. Plenty of sellers there are traders, not makers, sitting one layer above the factory and adding a layer of price. So I check. I read local Chinese hiring data, look at street-view maps, and pull government permits to confirm a factory is real. That gives you the real bottom price and the real MOQ, not a trader's version.
We test before you buy
For parts where fit matters, like a perfume bottle and its cap, we model them in Rhino 3D and 3D print a sample first. We catch the problem on the desk, not after 10,000 units come off the line.
We check quality at multiple points
We inspect to AQL 2.5, and not just at the end. We check at several points during production, so problems get caught early.
We help you get ready to sell
We design and print custom packaging, manuals, and product photos in-house. We can do the manuals in other languages too. So your goods arrive ready for your shelf.
